Outdoor Concert featuring THE BOX BROTHERS Where: Zearing City Park Shelter House When: Friday, July 25, 9:00 pm - 1:00 am You must be 21 to attend. Over the years, the Box Brothers have honed diverse styles into a signature sound with great musicianship and vocals. They have an active song list of nearly 100 songs spanning some 50 years of American and British popular music, including an exciting blend of soul, R&B, classic rock, oldies, country, blues, and standards. We welcome the band to Zearing Days for their first appearance. Come for the music, stay for the fireworks at dusk.

Featuring lead vocals from all three members and three part harmony in most songs, Saucy Jack sounds much bigger than a three man band should. Their song list shows that they that grew up loving 80s rock and roll, but you will also find many great songs from the 70s, 90s, and today in the mix. Like the Box Brothers, Zearing Days proudly welcomes Saucy to Zearing for the first time!

WHO-TV 13 vs. KCCI-TV 8 IV Slow-Pitch Softball Game Where: Veterans Memorial Ballpark When: Saturday, July 26, 1:00 pm Zearing Days is proud to announce that for the fourth consecutive year, we will host a softball grudge match pitting two local media powerhouses: WHO-TV 13 and KCCI-TV 8. Stop by Veteran's Ballpark at 1:00 pm on Saturday to watch the match of the year - only at Zearing Days!

Come check out the work horses of yesteryear work the fields in a completely different way! Fun for the whole family, bring a lawn chair, and yes, admission is free! Note: this year we're pulling the heavy tractors first.
